Site Overview

This page explains how to configure the core fields and tracking settings for a site within Performance Now! admin. Each field directly impacts how optimization, tracking, and click handling function across your web properties.

Key Site Fields

• Name:
  Unique label shown everywhere in the platform. Use something your team will instantly recognize.

• Status:
  Indicates if the site is active or paused.

  Site Status

  If the site is not active, all click commands and optimizations are paused for this site. Make sure to keep status set to “Active” unless you want to halt all activity.

• Domain:
  The base domain for redirects. All click URLs are dynamically generated using this domain and the optimizer’s path.
  Always double-check that this matches the actual domain used by your ad campaigns.

• Optimizers:
  Lists which optimization engines are linked to this site. Optimizers control available URL paths, experiments, tracking events, and outcome rules.

Tracking Options

• Click ID:
  Ad networks append parameters to help track clicks and attribute performance.

  • If you’re using multiple ad networks, list all click ID parameters separated by commas (e.g. gclid,msclkid,fbclid).

  For accurate reconciliation with your ad platforms, always declare every click ID parameter used by your networks. Failing to do so may result in lost or mismatched conversions.
